Location: Old Buckenham Primary School, Attleborough
Salary: Scale point 12- 17 £28,598 - £31,022 FTE £20,771 - £22,939 PRO RATA including an allowance for holiday pay
Vacancy Type: Fixed term until 31 of July 2027, Part Time (31.25 hours per week)

THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. As a HLTA Pastoral, you will support pupils, families and safeguarding processes while working closely with the Head of School (Inclusion Leader). The role includes occasional whole-class teaching.
Key Responsibilities include:

The Higher-Level Teaching Assistant is responsible for undertaking care and learning programmes and activities to teach and support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specialised support for those with special education needs, enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
The post-holder will be required to comply with Old Buckenham Primary School’s Code of Conduct. Teaching & Learning
Demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to teach and support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of all pupils including, where appropriate, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activitiesTo attend to the personal and social needs of pupils and any other special requirements depending on the nature of a pupil’s special needs and, wherever possible, making these part of the learning experience;Support, or teach, a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learningProvide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement; Planning
