About this role
Nurse practitioners in the adult crisis stabilization unit work in collaboration with psychiatrists to provide team-based care to persons experiencing behavioral health crises. Nurse practitioners utilize their knowledge of physical and mental health in order to initiate treatment and help to improve patients’ behavioral and psychiatric functioning in a short term setting that allows patients to return quickly to a less restrictive setting
