About this role
The Retirement Implementation Specialist role will be an integral part of a global team that will ensure that our systems accurately reflect client pension plan design features and comply with current US legislation. The Role
• Be part of a pioneer group in Manila that will establish and grow knowledge around the pension plan designs, as well as the client and Government-specific rules and requirements that govern them. • Have the opportunity to work within a line of business that provides pension, and health and welfare administration outsourcing solutions for nearly eight million benefit plan participants globally, including more than five million in North America. • Work on the Manila night shift to work real-time with the rest of our US onshore colleagues. • Have immediate focus on: • Understanding how pension calculations work and the business rules that drive them. • Test plan execution. • Raising bugs / issues found based on testing to your Lead RIS. • Release testing. • Running calculation regression and updating its list of test cases as needed. • Execution of monthly processing items (Cash Balance Rollups, Monthly Interest Rates). • Configuration of new clients’ pension plan XML.
• Eventually grow into: o Fully understanding the client pension plans and system rules. o Fulfill responsibilities of a Primary RIS. o Being a component lead for implementation projects.

The Requirement • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other major with significant quantitative course work. • At least two years of relevant work experience. • Has advanced experience with Excel. • Experience with test plan creation, testing procedures and test plan execution is required. • Experience with MSSQL. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. • Self-motivated and ability to remain focused on assigned projects. • Detail oriented and demonstrated organizational skills. • Committed to quality and continuous improvement. • Experience with US Pension Plans preferred, but not required. • Experience working with the US and/or UK is preferred, but not required • Experience with XML is preferred, but not required.
