Cooling Technician (Norway)

Location: Norway, field based role. Mainly at customer sites near Kristiansand, but will allow travel along the southern corridor (Skien/Porsgrunn, Prestestranda/Drangedal, Kristiansand), with nationwide travel and overnight stays frequently exceeding 50% of working time.

Want to Work with Critical Infrastructure and the Future of Cooling Technology? We're looking for a skilled service technician in cooling and HVAC to join our service team in Norway. This role is ideal if you want a varied working day out at customer sites, with responsibility for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced cooling and thermal solutions, including data centres and critical infrastructure.
You'll work with modern technology on some of Norway's most exciting data centre projects, while becoming part of an international company with great development opportunities. What Will You Be Working On? Day to day work will include servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on cooling and HVAC systems, including repairs and emergency callouts during downtime. You'll follow up with customers and provide technical support in the field, document and report completed work, and plan and carry out preventive maintenance. You'll participate in on call and standby rotas, ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE procedures and applicable regulations, and contribute to upselling and identifying new service needs with customers. What Are We Looking For? Required Qualifications
• Trade certificate as a refrigeration installer, cooling technician, or equivalent • F Gas certification (Category 1) • Experience in cooling, HVAC, DX systems, or thermal solutions • Driving licence (Class B) • Good Norwegian and English skills, both spoken and written • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
Desired Qualifications
• Experience from data centres or other critical environments • Familiarity with control systems or BMS • General IT understanding and experience with digital reporting • Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
