About this role
Assists with basic labor tasks across the plant or mine site. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and equipment readiness while supporting production and maintenance teams.
• Perform routine plant or yard cleanup (sweeping, shoveling, washing down areas).
• Assist with moving tools, materials, and equipment.
• Support basic maintenance activities under supervision.
• Load or unload bags, pallets, or product containers.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor.
• Additional duties as assigned
• High level of safety and quality • Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) • Good problem-solving skills • Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred • Forklift experience - Preferred • Computer Software - Preferred • Warehouse experience - Preferred • High school diploma or GED preferred. • 0-1 year of experience in industrial or outdoor labor.
