Full Time, Days

Position Summary:

Operates all radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable equipment to include Operating room C-Arm and O-Arm procedures; obtains optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease. Performs optimal advanced imaging exams / procedures in one or more advanced modalities; CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and/or Interventional Radiology, producing the highest quality diagnostic imaging results. If IR, is competent to assist with all interventional procedures. Direct responsibility includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal care patient. Participates in the daily routine of Imaging procedures and including “On-Call”.

• Performs various radiographic / advanced radiographic and/or non-radiographic examinations / procedures to produce diagnostic images of optimal diagnostic quality according to modality policy and protocol as dictated by the modality, on a daily basis. • Administers intravenous injections according to policy and procedures of the Imaging Department. • Provides and supports interdepartmental teamwork set forth by the Imaging Department. • Meets the physical and mental needs of the patient during examination. • Maintains workstation/area and equipment in acceptable working order and cleanliness.

Minimum: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.

Experience: Thorough knowledge of Radiology, Interventional Radiology, MRI, & CT Scan in all forms; terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy. Other Qualifications: 1. ARRT (R) Registry required 2. ARRT Advanced Certification (when applicable) 3. Florida DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist 4. American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
