Full Time, Days
The Paramedic is a licensed Paramedic and functions under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse, Department
Director, Clinical Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and physician(s). He/she assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive functions that he/she has documented competency to perform. The Paramedic adheres to policy, procedures & established standards of practice.
EDUCATION: Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum education required for licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Florida.
EXPERIENCE: None required. One (1) year of Emergency Services experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: State of Florida Paramedic License; BLS and ACLS certification; CPI certification within three (3) months of hire into position.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Completes Blood Draw competency within 3-months of hire into position. Completes EKG competency within three (3) months of hire into the position. #LI-MQ1
