Responsible for patient triage, patient education, and assisting physicians in the assessment of patient needs and treatment plan(s).
• Maintain chart documentation to ensure all information about patient is completed and documented correctly.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
• 2 years of clinical experience in a physician office. Experience working in a cardiovascular or electrophysiology clinic, critical care or ICU preferred. • Experience working in a high-volume office (20+ patients/day on clinic days) highly desirable. • Rhythm knowledge – familiarity with cardiac monitoring, EKG/ECG and device management/interrogation (CDRMS or IBHRE) is preferred • Experience counseling patients regarding pre and post procedure care and medication adherence is preferred Certification: Current State RN license and CPR certification. Preferred: ACLS/BLS Certified
