Position Summary
Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-
dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist.
• Assesses patient data and formulates plan of intervention • Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms • Evaluates and calculates echocardiogram raw data and scores, calculates the raw data, and presents it in an appropriate manner
• Performs Echocardiographic studies: 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler.
• Special Skills: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills. • Minimum Requirements • Education: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school. • Certifications: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
• Preferred Requirements • Experience: Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
