As a frontline healthcare provider, you will play an important role in delivering accessible primary care, helping patients receive the right care at the right time while reducing avoidable hospital presentations and easing pressure on secondary healthcare services. Supported by experienced nurses, efficient systems, and a dedicated administration team, you will be able to focus on what matters most, delivering excellent patient care. What You Will Do As a valued member of the clinical team, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred general practice care. • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and long-term health conditions. • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with patients and their families. • Promote preventative healthcare and support positive health outcomes. • Work collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care. • Support continuity of care through proactive patient management and follow-up. • Contribute to reducing avoidable hospital admissions through accessible community-based healthcare. • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards. • Participate in a supportive, team-based approach focused on delivering positive patient outcomes. What You Will Bring To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate, or eligibility for registration. • Experience working as a General Practitioner within primary care. • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient-centred healthcare. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A collaborative approach and passion for working within multidisciplinary teams. • A genuine desire to improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and the wider community.
