NZREX Medical Assistant (Clinical Administration) Full Time | Auckland We’re looking for an NZREX-qualified doctor to join our team in a clinical administration role supporting the safe and efficient flow of patient information within our clinics. About the Role This role focuses on clinical inbox and document management, ensuring critical patient information is reviewed, tracked, and appropriately escalated to support safe and timely care. Key Responsibilities You’ll spend most of your time: Monitoring and managing outstanding or unacknowledged clinical documents to ensure patient safety and timely care delivery This includes follow-up on:
• Lab results • Radiology reports • Hospital discharge summaries • Specialist letters • Other clinical correspondence not reviewed within expected timeframes • Managing recalls, follow-ups, screening entries, and classifications • Escalating any findings or concerns that sit outside your scope to the appropriate clinician • Summarising patient notes and maintaining accurate clinical records • Maintaining clinical data and completing required documentation • Keeping systems and workflows up to date to support clinic operations What We’re Looking For You don’t need prior experience in this exact role, but you’ll bring:
• An overseas medical degree with NZREX qualification • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills • Confidence working across systems and managing tasks independently • Clear and professional written communication • A practical, structured approach to work • Knowledge of clinical document types (e.g. labs, imaging, referrals, specialist letters) What You Can Expect
