About this role
The Site Material Manager reports functionally to the Material Management Department Manager and is matrixed to the Project Director. The Site Material Manger interacts directly with the Construction Manager and Site discipline leads to verify that strategies are developed, objectives are achieved, potential problems are identified, and corrective actions are completed. The Site Material Manager is responsible for the entire site material activities, including among others and not limited to; material control planning, material deliveries, receiving, warehousing, issuing, site procurement, site expediting, site logistics, equipment and material preservation, Min/Max controls, material consignment controls, back charge delivery controls, construction equipment control, tool and supply control, special controls, and disposal of surplus and scrap.
