An M2 Windows Server Systems Engineering Manager provides administrative leadership and operational oversight for the Windows Server engineering team. This role focuses on assigning and prioritizing projects and daily tasks related to server deployments, patching, and general Windows Server operations, while managing resource and capacity planning to ensure workloads are balanced and deadlines are met. The manager is responsible for audit and data call responses, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. They mentor and develop team members through performance reviews and training support, and work closely with other IT and Enterprise Operations teams on capacity planning, roadmaps, and policies and procedures. As part of overseeing team responsibilities, the manager also ensures effective use of PowerShell scripting for automation and the proper design, implementation, and governance of Active Directory policies and authentication.
