About this role
Ophthalmic Assistant - FlexStaff Contract Prepares and assists patient for examination. Performs diagnostic tests and techniques using a variety of ophthalmic instruments. Cleans and maintains equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities:
• Assists patient to examination rooms and chairs; transfers and transports handicapped patients, as needed • Assists professional staff during patient examinations • Records patient’s medical history, chief complaint, etc • Prepares lab supplies for cultures
