About this role

Responsible for analyzing requirements impacting hardware design, defining possible implementation solutions and selecting the most optimal one with respect to the defined requirements and product cost & TCO. A Hardware Engineer collects inputs on the required functionality of the hardware (EG performance, interfaces, features) and designs the blueprint of the hardware including any therefore required analysis, EG power analysis, thermal analysis, dimensioning of interfaces, memory and processing capabilities. Hardware Engineers are responsible for a wide range of activities from architecture, to design, implementation, and verification to deliver hardware for the “best-in-class” principle, ie including any testability, serviceability, operability or similar functions.
