About this role
Collaborates with central offices and schools to support an Extended School Year program; develops, monitors, and evaluates student and classroom behavior management framework using functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plan (BIP) processes; applies constructivism learning theory and philosophy to behavior modification, intervention, and de-escalation situations, serves as a liaison with administrators and central office management to support Special Education students; assists teachers with curriculum modification, interpretation of IEP documents, and the implementation of behavior plans; utilizes best practices in teaching to achieve student?s IEP goals; oversees student safety in the classroom; participates in Summer Collaborative Team meetings; maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, regulation, and policy.
