About this role
Supports an Extended School Year program; works with middle or high school students who require intensive behavior support using applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies; student needs may include working on SOL-based or VESOL-based curriculum taught in the previous school year; supports instruction, classroom and behavior management, implements individual student reinforcement systems, assists with routine care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting, performs certain medical procedures or gives medication under supervision and with appropriate training; aids medically fragile students and those physically impaired, which may involve transferring to and from wheelchairs to floor, table, or therapy devices.
