About this role
Collaborates with central offices and schools to support an Extended School Year program that includes instruction in communication, life, and social skills; works with students between ages 2 to 5 years with a range of disabilities, focusing on critical life subjects such as academic readiness, fine and gross motor, and self-help skills; utilizes best practices in teaching to achieve student?s IEP goals; works closely with families and/or community teachers to incorporate skill building strategies into daily activities; participates in Summer Collaborative Team meetings; collaborates with administrators, central office staff, teachers, and paraprofessionals. Dates of service throughout the summer are aligned with community or private preschool, day care, Head Start, and/or other children?s programs at various locations.
