About this role
To independently manage core cluster finance functions including closing, MIS, operational finance, and stakeholder coordination, while driving accuracy, insights, and process efficiency. Acts as a bridge between business, finance manager, and shared services.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Closing & Control
• Lead monthly book closing activities for the cluster. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financials by coordinating with Shared Services (GL team). • Review accruals, provisions, and adjustments before finalization. • Monitor closing timelines and escalate delays proactively. 2. MIS & Financial Reporting
• Prepare and review monthly MIS packs with detailed variance analysis. • Deliver meaningful financial commentary on: • Revenue trends (hospital & clinic level) • Cost drivers and margin movements
• Support Finance Manager with management reports and presentations. 3. Planning & Forecasting
• Actively support: • Budget preparation • Rolling forecasts • Business plans
• Develop financial models and run scenario analysis. • Validate assumptions with business stakeholders. 4. Operational Finance (Core Responsibility)
• Oversee and validate: • CBD / departmental profitability reports • Doctors’ revenue share computations
• Ensure compliance with contracts and revenue-sharing structures. • Analyze unit economics across hospitals and clinics. 5. Business Partnering
• Work closely with operations to: • Monitor financial performance • Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Provide insights to improve revenue and efficiency. 6. Process Improvement & Automation
• Design advanced Excel-based tools, dashboards, and macros. • Drive automation in: • MIS preparation • Revenue calculations • Tracking mechanisms
• Standardize templates across the cluster. 7. Shared Services Coordination
• Act as the primary point of escalation for GL and accounting issues. • Ensure timely resolution of: • Incorrect postings • Reconciliation differences • Intercompany issues
8. Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects
• Perform complex financial analysis for decision-making. • Support strategic initiatives and finance transformation projects.
Experience & Qualification
• 4–7 years of experience in finance (FP&A / business finance preferred) • Experience in healthcare / multi-site operations is a strong advantage
