About this role

Shift: Night Shift, 10PM-630AM with Weekend and Holiday Rotation The Sterile Processing Technician Certified is responsible for the safe and effective reprocessing of surgical instruments and medical devices, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution. This role ensures compliance with infection control standards, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements to support patient safety and clinical operations. The technician maintains accurate documentation for traceability, participates in quality assurance initiatives, and engages in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and organizational policies. Education: High School graduate or equivalent License/Certifications: Associate is required to obtain certification within 1 years of hire date. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) OR Certified Surgical Technologist from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Surgical Technician- Certified from National Center for Competency Testing is acceptable. Mandatory Reporter Certification Experience: (Preferred) At least One year of sterile processing experience EEO/M/F/D/V . Dept: HSP Sterile Processing
