About this role

Specialized Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Care in West Texas. Our faculty and staff are focused on excellence in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Their enthusiasm and dedication to teaching, patient care and academics is our greatest asset. We have a Medical Pavilion on our campus where our residents provide outpatient care to women of all ages under faculty supervision. At our Center for Perinatal Medicine we have a diagnostic center for ultrasounds, genetics and fetal testing services that serves a large portion of West Texas and cancer centers that provide quality care for our gynecologic oncology patients. In addition to the gynecology continuity of care clinic, we have a number of other subspecialty clinics including diabetes, high risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology & infertility, and colposcopy. The department also provides ample opportunities for research for students and residents. Each resident is assigned a research mentor in the first year and is expected to present a finished project in the third or fourth year at our annual resident research day. The faculty is actively engaged in a variety of research endeavors across all areas of the specialty. We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Gynecologic Oncologist for a full time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
