About this role
Perform cytogenetic technologist job duties in Lubbock, Texas. Prepares, examines, and analyzes chromosomes found in biological specimens such as amniotic fluids, bone marrow, and blood, to aid in diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases. Will also perform advanced technical duties in the diagnostic study of cells for the purpose of recognition and classification. Assists in the training of subordinate personnel. Prepares and interprets reports, records, forms and other correspondence. Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from with a major in Biology, Microbiology, Zoology or related field plus twelve (12) months related full-time paid experience in Clinical Laboratory professional position.
