About this role
MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Creative Arts Therapist is responsible for evaluation, planning and delivery of creative arts, occupational, dance/movement, and/or recreational programs as a supportive element of the treatment program. The Creative Arts Therapist participates with the treatment team in the development and delivery of a comprehensive plan of care and treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Recreational Therapy, Art Therapy, Counseling, Occupational, Dance/Movement, or Music Therapy • One year in providing Behavioral Health Services is required.
Certification/Licensure:
• Certification or licensure in area of specialization preferred. • CPI is required and must be obtained within introductory period.
