About this role
A nonexempt position responsible for nursing care under the supervision of physicians and clinical services manager. May be responsible for basic clinical tasks including but not limited to, vital signs, routine blood draws, immunization, injections, point of care testing, and EKG’s and provides care that is consistent with Inspira policies and external regulations and requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: High school or equivalent. Graduation from an approved practical nursing program. 1 year of LPN experience; clinical experience required. Experience in a medical practice environment strongly preferred. Able to operate multi-line phone system, update and modify EMR records on computer, understand medical charting, operate stethoscope, echocardiography (EKG) machine, ear-washing instruments, blood pressure cuff, speculums, and other nursing items. May involve use of walkers, wheelchairs, pulse oximetry, and oxygen tanks. State-licensed practical nurse.
