Job Description: Maintenance Millwright / Pipefitter – Lloydminster, Alberta Help Us Shape the Future of Nutrition Location: Lloydminster, Alberta Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Unionized Department: Operations Industry: Agricultural Processing Compensation: $33.46 – $42.65 per hour Pre-Employment Requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks Reference ID: About the Role ADM’s Lloydminster Oilseed Plant is seeking a Maintenance Millwright and/or Pipefitter to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining production reliability through preventive, predictive, and failure-based maintenance activities. The Maintenance Millwright / Pipefitter will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is maintained to required standards while supporting continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. This role requires flexibility, including shift work, weekends, and after-hours call-outs as needed to support plant operations. What You’ll Do • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with established safety standards, policies, and procedures • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose equipment issues efficiently and effectively • Repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant reliability and uptime • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation • Recommend equipment modifications or upgrades to improve reliability and performance • Document completed work, equipment changes, and maintenance activities • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments • Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a team environment • Respond to after-hours trouble calls and on-call requirements as needed • Perform additional duties as assigned What You Bring • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting capabilities • Working knowledge of pumps, conveying systems, gearboxes, milling roll equipment, grinders, and filtration systems • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings • Experience inspecting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is considered an asset • Commitment to maintaining ADM’s high standards for safety, quality, and operational performance Education and Experience • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) and/or Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice preferred • Demonstrated high level of mechanical competence Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibility • Proven history of working safely and actively participating in safety improvement initiatives • Ability to work in accordance with local and provincial legislation • Full understanding of and accountability for compliance with all safety and EHS requirements
