Newquay Tretherras is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled Teacher of Art with Photography to join our successful and committed Art & Design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who can inspire students, nurture creativity and contribute to high-quality outcomes across the Art and Photography curriculum.
The successful candidate will be able to teach engaging and well-sequenced lessons that develop students’ technical skills, visual literacy, confidence and creativity. They will have strong subject knowledge in Art and Photography, high expectations of all learners, and a genuine commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.
This role would suit an excellent classroom teacher who is keen to contribute to a thriving department and the wider life of the school. Experience of teaching Photography, or the confidence and enthusiasm to develop this area further, would be desirable.
