Sandy Lane Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team from September 2026.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Has experience working within a primary school settingDemonstrates excellent teaching, behaviour management and classroom practiceHas a strong understanding of the National CurriculumUses assessment effectively to support pupil progressBuilds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesShares our valuesIs committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
As a Class Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learningPlan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learnersMonitor and assess pupil progressCreate a safe, inclusive and positive learning environmentWork collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agenciesContribute to the wider life of the school
