We have an exciting opportunity in Poway, CA (San Diego, CA) for a Senior Staff Antenna Engineer to join the RF/Antenna Engineering group. The successful candidate will work on a research team engaged in the development of low-cost active electronically scanned antenna arrays in X, Ku, and Ka bands. Major areas include system-level design and analysis, hardware design and maturation, hardware test and demonstration, and interfacing with customers and senior management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform as the Principal Investigator for phased antenna array systems. Lead or participate in proposal preparation and technical analysis in support of new business activities. Determine and manage system requirements. Develop test programs and analysis for requirements verification. Prepare and present status/progress reports, PDR & CDR presentations, and formal proposals to executive level personnel and customers. Investigate new technologies and applications. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Perform as Subject Matter Expert for company-wide antenna-related concerns. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
