Job Description: Wastewater Treatment Operator - Enderlin, ND ADM Enderlin, ND Oilseed Processing This is a full-time, hourly position. Position Summary: • Operate the waste treatment plant including laboratory evaluation of samples to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements. • Safely perform all duties in compliance with all state and federal laws & regulations. • Promote a positive work climate. • Openly communicate information to others. • Work with supervisors and members of management to coordinate the use of Company resources in keeping with established policies, procedures, and plant priorities • Perform general cleaning of grounds and buildings. • Perform preventative maintenance activities and assist in general maintenance activities. Job Requirements: • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values • Chemical Safety knowledge • Ability to use computers • Assist with developing SOP’s and ESLP’s • Numeric Reasoning skills • Previous Laboratory experience preferred • Applicants must have shown ability to cooperate with those inside and outside their work group • Troubleshooting of processes and response to changes • High school diploma or GED with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing) • Understanding of the importance of Safety • Strong attendance record • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts • Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement • Willingness to continue education to become State Certified Operator • Ability to communicate and interpret lab results to enable decisions regarding plant performance Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions Before applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor. * If you’ve been in your current position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required. * If you’ve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required. : Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
