Teacher of Geography – Maternity Cover (1 Year FTC)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities Faculty on a 1-year maternity cover contract from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, achievement and a love of learning. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning and who can contribute positively to a supportive and ambitious department.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across the ability range Monitor and support student progress and achievement Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement Promote excellent behaviour, inclusion and student wellbeing Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Humanities team
