About this role
New Model Program (NMP) Launch Engineer based in Ford Vietnam Plant - Hai Duong.
• Lead post Unit Program Approval (PA) Launch Timing
• Update New Model Program Assessments
• Lead/ Monitor the Automated Issue Management (AIM) system process for resolution aging metrics
• Lead the Pre-Launch Control Plan development
• Manage Open-to-go (OTG) new content change management
• Facilitate Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Alert management
• Maintain & apply quality control system in NMP area including but not limited to TS16949, ISO14001, Launch Quality Operating System (LQOS) Ford Production System, Comply with Company policies/ procedures/ programs
• Manage NMP stake in the white board meeting, FER, R202, Color Harmony, Ford Consumer Product Audit (FCPA) review.
• Lead the On Site Modification process.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. • Proficient in English. • Strong Interpersonal skills, project management, collaboration, problem-solving and conflict management skills. • Preference: experienced in automotive industry or equivalent and problem-solving skills.
