Location: Braeburn Primary & Nursery Academy
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, to be worked during the school term time
Salary: £31,015 - £33,673
Actual salary: £23,575 - £25,596
Contract: Fixed term until 31/7/2027

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is passionate about developing the true potential of children through a nurturing, inspiring, challenging and motivating environment.
About you
Being a HLTA requires a certain set of skills and expertise
You will have calm and caring disposition
The ability to break down activities into small step and step teaching
A team player, willing to work closely with likeminded people who all have the children’s best interest at heart
Someone who is able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in child development and the curriculum
Passionate about enhancing each child’s experiences and building upon their learning.
Someone who is able to ‘step in’ to support the Class Teacher as and when needed, this may be supporting small groups of children or leading whole class activities
We are looking for someone who is able to work flexibly, someone who is adaptable and able to work in line with the needs of the school and the children who attend.
