Caister Academy are seeking a proactive, self‑motivated Raising Achievement Mentor (Science) who can take initiative, communicate clearly, and build positive relationships with students. The ideal candidate will be confident leading small groups, able to step in to support lessons when needed, and bring a genuine enthusiasm for science alongside a solid grasp of core concepts.
We’re looking for someone adaptable, calm under pressure, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning. Experience in a school setting is desirable, and this role offers valuable hands‑on experience for anyone considering a future in science education, instructional coaching, or a broader science‑based career.

GCSE English and Maths, minimum Grade 4 or equivalentProven experience working in an educational environmentProven experience in classroom managementAbility to use initiative and apply sound decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
