Is ready to take on a rewarding challenge with real impact
Has anNVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
HasLiteracy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
CompletedDepartment for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or to complete within first term)
Hasa full and relevant qualification accepted by the Department for Education (DfE) to work in anearly yearssetting
Hasa secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework.
Displaysgood understanding of a child’s development and learning.
Has experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning
Demonstrates effective communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
