About this role
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 25.5 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 1:15pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support for children with additional needs. We are seeking a candidate who:
Has experience of working with children in a Teaching Assistant role
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
Is able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use initiative
Is able to work flexibly and professionally
