About this role

John Wycliffe Primary School, is part of Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (IPAT), are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard working team in our school. This post is part-time / Permanent contract i/ EYFS, KS1, KS2.

This vacancy is for the right candidate to become a member of our dedicated team of staff. JWPS is a community school at the heart of Lutterworth, a growing market town in rural Leicestershire. As the town is growing, so is our school and over the last few years have invested over £1.1million in the site to provide more pupil places and specialist SEN support for pupils from across Leicestershire. Our school has a long tradition of nurture, placing the wellbeing of our children at the heart of all we do. When it comes to teaching and learning, we have a very simple ethos: Be Brilliant!

Our last Ofsted, in 2023, identified the school as Good in all areas, commenting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to join our highly committed team and willing to work across the schools in either Key Stages. The successful applicant will be:

This LSA post will be for 30 hours per week , 39 weeks + 30 hours to include Inset days and training/ Permanent / at Grade 5 .7 - £13.05 per hour
