About this role
We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our existing team in supporting our students at Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich.
The actual salary for this role will be £35,221 - £37,368 (38 weeks per year, 42.5 hours per week).
We would like to hear from you if you have:
GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalentKnowledge of the academy behaviour for learning policyKnowledge of the range of barriers to learning that students faceTraining in child protection and safeguarding proceduresBasic knowledge of first aid; e.g. emergency first aid courseTwo years' experience of working in an inner city school or educational establishmentExperience of dealing successfully with a range of behaviour issuesExperience of working with staff to ensure excellent behaviour for learningExperience of working with familiesExperience of supervising a group of students for detentions, referral and internal exclusion as appropriateExperience of working with challenging students and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfullyFor a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.
