This role is critical in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facility infrastructure. The successful candidate will blend specialized electrical expertise with a generalist's approach to maintenance, handling everything from complex wiring repairs to routine facility upkeep. This position requires a technician who is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of operating effectively within a high-standard industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Electrical Installation & Repair: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and systems to ensure continuous facility operations. Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions and facility-related issues using a methodical approach to minimize operational downtime. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and BAE Systems' rigorous electrical safety protocols. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to accurately implement repairs and facility upgrades. Tool Proficiency: Safely and efficiently utilize a wide range of power tools and diagnostic equipment required for electrical and general maintenance tasks. Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour (or $39,520 to $45,760 annually). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as shift differentials or the terms outlined in an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will ultimately determine your wages.
