• Supervise shift-wise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and VAS activities. • Manage inbound and outbound workflows to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. • Monitor warehouse conditions (temperature, humidity) and ensure proper storage of sensitive agrochemical products. • Ensure that stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), segregation, and labeling are carried out as per standards and MSDS guidelines. • Coordinate closely with transport, yard, logistics, and inventory teams for seamless operations. • Oversee manpower deployment (labor and MHE operators) and ensure optimum utilization during shifts. • Escalate discrepancies or cargo/document-related issues immediately to the supervisor/management. Inventory Management
• Conduct routine inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations. • Maintain accurate chemical stock records and ensure compliance with safety norms (OSHA, pollution control board, MSDS). • Inspect products for quality issues, leakage, contamination, or expiry concerns. Planning & Coordination
• Plan daily operations to meet customer requirements and optimize warehouse resources. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and dispatch schedules. • Support audit readiness for GFSI, internal audits, and regulatory inspections. MIS & Documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of system data entries (GRN, pick lists, dispatch entries, stock adjustments, etc.). • Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to inventory, productivity, operations, safety, and performance. • Support billing activities by validating and sharing operational data, service records, and labor/MHE utilization. Safety & Training
• Train staff on PPE usage, safe chemical handling, and emergency response procedures. • Identify potential risks and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Key responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Qualification & Competencies • Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). • 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in chemical, FMCG, or 3PL environments. • Good knowledge of warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, inventory control, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO). • Familiarity with MSDS, GFSI, and warehouse safety requirements. • Proficient in WMS/ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills. • Ability to manage manpower effectively and handle shift operations independently. • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.
