An opportunity has arisen for a 1 day a week Receptionist with 4 days Patients Pathway Administrator in the Oral Surgery and Orthodontic Department at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to join our team in our busy department.
This role involves working on Reception for 1 day and working as in an office environment for 4 days.
The post holder will be expected to prioritise their own workload to ensure that their tasks are being accomplished in line with clinical urgency and the Trust's Patient Access Policy standards.
We are a hard working friendly and flexible team; meeting ever changing demands and require someone of a similar nature.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working 1 day a week on Reception and 4 days in our Patient Pathway Administrator team office.
Welcoming patients into the department, checking them in and booking outpatient follow up appointments when required.
Patient Pathway Administrator role will involve ensuring that the Oral Surgery and Orthodontic outpatient appointments are booked, clinics are prepped in advance, and you will be registering new patients onto the system.
You will be answering patient telephone queries and scanning documents onto Cerner.
The post holder will need to be enthusiastic, motivated person who can offer excellent administrative skills to assist in the effective delivery and bookings of the Oral Surgery and Orthodontic department.
To be successful you will have excellent organisational and communication skills.
Have a flexible and professional approach to the work and enjoy the variety of communicating with a wide range of people both internal and external to the Trust.
A good understanding of the dealing with patient matters in the strictest ofconfidence and have a flexible and friendly working approach.
