Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic cleaner.
The post is suited to a motivated and experienced domestic services candidate to work at Hollins Park.
The successful candidate will provide a cleaning service around this Division ensuring National cleaning standards, PLACE requirements and CQC standards are met
Main duties of the job
The provision of a high quality professional centered service ensuring all policies and procedures and standards are adhered to.
To work to a high standard to meet national Standards of Cleanliness.
Work to an agreed cleaning schedule and complete relevant documentation.
Responsible for ensuring all cleaning equipment and cleaning agents are available.

Experience of working in a similar role (cleaning or catering).
Experience of working in the NHS.
Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness and NHS Colour Coding.

Foundation certificate in food hygiene level 2

Able to function as a member of a team and support the management objectives of the department and Trust Able to deal with requests from service users, managers and staff in a friendly and helpful way Flexible Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Able to carry out manual tasks
Desirable
Able to maintain accurate records. Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems
Experience Essential
Experience working in a similar role.
Desirable
Training in Health & Safety and catering or cleaning tasks Experience of working in the NHS specifically Mental Health/ Community environment
Knowledge Desirable
Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness. Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP. Knowledge of using cleaning equipment
