We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B Prison located in London. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency.

Hours

Monday to Fridays: 07:30 - 17:30 Weekends & Bank Holidays: 08:30 -17:30 Salary

This position is full time working 37.5 hrs per week and youll receive an annual salary up to £45,331 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs. Deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines. It doesnt stop there we also offer:

Qualifications Required

NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD) Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
