Main duties of the job The role of a Domestic Team Leader is to ensure the delivery of a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules through the provision of management and supervision to the cleaning team

We have a Domestic Team Leader role to join our team based at Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Centre - Kirkby in Ashfield

- £14.52 per hour, £28,393.00 per annum

- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Flexibility required to work AM, PM, and split shifts to meet business needs.

- 37.5 hours per week

- DBS check will be conducted, training will be providing

- A full manual driving licence is required

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating domestic services to ensure a high-quality, safe and compliant cleaning service across NHS Property Services sites. It involves managing staff, rotas, training and performance, completing audits and inspections, maintaining health and safety and cleaning standards, overseeing stock and equipment, and acting as a key point of contact for service users. The role supports effective service delivery, manages resources and may cover cleaning shifts when required. Complete routine tasks and follow workplace procedures effectively.

Qualifications - City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards.

Where you'll be

Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Centre - Kirkby in Ashfield. This role/service covers multiple locations, including Mansfield, Newark, Hucknall, Ilkeston, and Edwinstowe.

City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience

Demonstrable experience of managing/supervising domestic services colleagues Experience of managing customer complaints. * Experience of managing consumables/stock levels. Experience of risk management, conducting cleaning audits and making judgements on compliance.
