About this role
• Performs Inspection, troubleshooting, dis-assembly/assembly, repair and test of Cohu SEG New and RMA product and its modules.
• Recognizes failures and set up problems encountered during system testing and formulate corrective action plans.
• Operates multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, thermometers, and special test equipment.
• Ensures on-time delivery of job assignments as directed by his superiors.
• Provides real time escalation of test issues that may impact completion of task.
• Supports Test Engineering initiatives on Lean and other continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains the safekeeping of all test tools and equipment in Test area.
• Responsible for maintaining daily status logs and reports.
• Performs task in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
