We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in Kingston Upon Thames, London.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £14.66 per hour days and £15.82 per hour for waking nights.
We have one position available:
Average hours 33 hours
Week 1 = 31 hours 2 x days and a wake
Week 2 = 36.5 hours, 1 day, 1 wake and 2 splits
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
Preparing meals and assistance to eat if needed
Support with all personal care
Support with catheter care
Maintaining the home such as cleaning, keeping tidy etc.
Supporting to research activities of choice, book and attend
Supporting to meet up with friends
Support with shopping
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting clients to attend appointments
Administering medication when required

What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature Good communication skills A genuine desire to support others Basic IT and record-keeping skills A full UK driving licence is advantageous Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
