About this role
The incumbent will provide engineering leadership for Advanced Transceiver within the Datacenter business group. He/she will manage senior engineering leaders, foster a collaborative environment, and set technical direction for the development and implementation of cutting-edge transceiver solutions. Partner with customers to identify opportunities and develop concepts through first demonstration, either in Coherent labs or via public demonstrations. Build and manage the team required to execute these efforts. Collaborate with internal laser, photodiode, integrated circuit, and optical packaging teams and external suppliers, factories and supply chain to define the best development strategy and production strategy for the advanced Transceiver products. Work with marketing team and management to define next generation products development roadmap Oversee the Milmont R&D site operations.
