As a Collection Executive, you will be the front-line representative for our company, interacting directly with customers to resolve outstanding debts. Your primary goal will be to recover debts in a professional and respectful manner, while also providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
• Contact customers via phone, email, or other agreed-upon methods to discuss outstanding debts and payment arrangements. • Negotiate and agree on suitable repayment plans, considering the customer's financial situation and our company's policies. • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including call logs, payment arrangements, and customer interactions. • Provide regular updates to customers on their account status and any relevant information regarding their debt. • Collaborate with the customer care team to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience throughout the collection process. • Identify and escalate potential issues or disputes to the appropriate team members for resolution. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements, when engaging with customers. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing our company's brand and values. • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and any changes in collection strategies or regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a collections or customer service role. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers. • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a customer-centric approach. • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office. • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of customer interactions. • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. • A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving collection targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. • Willingness to undergo training and stay updated on industry developments.
