This post offers an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to develop a broad range of hospital pharmacy skills within a busy teaching hospital environment. Whether you are newly qualified, currently completing your foundation training year, or looking to transition into hospital pharmacy from another sector, you will be well supported throughout your development.

We run a progressive and innovative clinical pharmacy service where successful candidates receive extensive patient-facing clinical experience through rotations across a wide range of specialties including acute medicine, respiratory, older people's medicine, coronary care, haematology, oncology, paediatrics, renal medicine, intensive care and surgery, alongside other areas.

The post holder will also gain experience in dispensary services, aseptic production, medicines information, radiopharmacy and clinical trials, providing excellent opportunities to develop a full range of hospital pharmacy skills.

This is a three-year contract. We welcome pharmacists looking to move into hospital pharmacy from any sector, as well as applications from trainee pharmacists due to qualify this summer.

If you are looking for a role that will challenge and develop you, while being part of a compassionate and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
