Job summary
Mocketts Wood Surgery is a GP Surgery in Broadstairs, looking after 9400 patients, and are looking for a part time receptionist.
The role is for 25 hours a week over 5 days, and we are looking for a reliable, well-organised, professional, enthusiastic, flexible, friendly individual to join our fantastic team, with a sound customer service and clerical background.
Main duties of the job
You will working within a supportive team, in a busy environment, which at times is demanding. Reliability is a priority. You should have a strong commitment to high standards of service delivery, performing a wide range of receptionist and administrative duties including answering telephones, booking appointments, providing assistance to patient queries and maintaining accurate patient records.
The successful candidate must have experience of working within a similar role with excellent communication skills and be I.T. proficient.
Experience of working with EMIS system would be beneficial . Team player is essential, being able to use your own initiative and willing to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Attention to detail will be a key characteristic and accuracy must be given priority at all times.
About us
The Surgery is open Monday to Friday 08:00 18:30 and Wednesday evenings until 20:00 whereby flexibility to cover the evening shift would be necessary if required.
A regular shift pattern will be set, however flexibility is required to cover any staff absences.
