As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who have overdue accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to establish positive relationships with these customers, understand their financial situations, and work collaboratively to develop tailored payment plans. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

• Contact customers with outstanding debts to discuss their financial situation and payment options. • Negotiate and agree on realistic payment plans that align with the customer's ability to pay. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements, and follow-up actions. • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the collection process. • Identify and escalate potential fraud or abuse cases to the appropriate team for further investigation. • Collaborate with the collections team to develop strategies for effective debt recovery. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in debt collection. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices. • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information.

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or collections. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles. • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. • Empathy and the ability to build rapport with customers. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software. • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • A positive and solution-oriented mindset.
